Individual therapy
Hi, I’m Hannah and I am passionate about creating a safe, containing and non-judgmental space to work with you to make sense of the challenges in your life and to work towards creating meaningful changes. I believe that it is important to tailor therapy to each individual’s needs and draw on their strengths and skills to overcome such challenges.
As a Clinical Psychologist, with over a decade’s experience working in NHS mental health services and private practice, I work with a range of individuals and use an integrative approach in my practice. This includes approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) , and narrative therapy. I am also a trained EMDR therapist. EMDR therapy is a highly effective evidence-based treatment to treat a range of difficulties including feelings of anxiety and symptoms of trauma and distress.
Many of the individuals I work with find themselves stuck in patterns of self-criticism, perfectionism, burnout or putting others' needs before their own - something I have certainly experienced over aspects of my career. Sadly, this often leaves little space for self-worth, rest, or emotional clarity. If this resonates with you, know that you're not alone, and these patterns often form as ways of coping with difficult early experiences, high expectations, or a deep need to feel safe and valued.
I also specialise with those struggling with identity and relationship difficulties, and trauma symptoms. I believe that being able to cultivate a compassionate understanding that many of our struggles come not from personal failure, but from how our brains and nervous systems have adapted to manage pain, fear, and disconnection is an essential part of therapy work. This approach is not about “fixing” you, but helping you build a compassionate relationship with yourself, so you can live with more confidence, emotional freedom, and self-acceptance.

Clinical supervision
Supervision is an integral part of clinical practice. I offer reflective, supportive, and skills-based supervision for psychologists, therapists, and mental health practitioners working with adolescents and adults in various settings. Drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), supervision sessions focus on clinical formulation, ethical practice, therapist wellbeing, and values-based professional development.
Whether you’re newly qualified or an experienced clinician, supervision sessions will be designed to meet you where you are, to help you grow with confidence and compassion. Supervision sessions can be offered to both individual clinicians or group supervision. To discover my availability and costs please enquire on the form below.

'I would like to thank Hannah for being so kind and thoughtful as a therapist. She helped me to bring in compassion towards myself, at a time when everything felt so dark. I will never forget our therapy sessions and how much they helped me. Thank you'

‘I got a lot out of my sessions with Hannah and will forever be grateful for her help. I was nervous about having therapy for depression, having not found the right help previously. I was also unsure about having sessions via video call, but it worked really well. Hannah managed my expectations, and talked me through how we would work together from my point of enquiry, and then week to week, at a pace that worked well for me. I would really recommend therapy with Hannah.’

'Hannah has given me so many tools that I use on a day-to-day basis and thanks to our sessions I am for the first time in a long time feeling good in myself, and as though I have more capacity to understand/observe and handle difficult situations moving forward. Thank you Hannah'
