Creating Spaces for Connection and Wellbeing

Living a meaningful and balanced life involves much more than what happens within the therapy room. Wellbeing is shaped by the relationships we build, the communities we belong to, and the opportunities we have to learn, grow, and connect with others.

We believe that community and connection are essential parts of psychological wellbeing and are committed to creating spaces that bring people together in supportive and enriching ways.

Our Community Events Across London

We host a range of events in collaboration with local organisations, practitioners, and community groups across London. These events are designed to:

  • foster connection through shared experiences and supportive spaces

  • encourage leaning, reflection and personal growth

  • promote collective wellbeing, creativity and meaningful engagement

Events may include workshops, talks, wellbeing activities, reflective gatherings, and collaborative projects that align with our values of accessibility, inclusivity and community care.

Baby Loss Support Programme in Partnership with Remember Rufus

Free Support Following Baby Loss

Remember Rufus is funding a new programme, delivered by The Light Side, to support parents through grief and trauma after miscarriage, TFMR (termination for medical reasons), stillbirth or neonatal loss.

Mothers, fathers, birthing parents and partners are all welcome, whether you come together or on your own. You're welcome to join from six weeks after your loss, however long ago it was, and whether or not you've talked about it with anyone before.

Many people need time to grieve and process before they feel ready for support, and that is completely normal. If you're interested but now doesn't feel like the right time, please still get in touch. We can add you to the waitlist for a future date, or talk through other support that might help in the meantime.

The programme includes:

  • A two hour online workshop exploring grief, trauma and ways of coping, led by clinical psychologists. Cameras are optional and you will never be asked to share your story.

  • Gentle, optional opportunities to connect with others who understand

  • We have limited spaces for funded individual trauma therapy including EMDR and Trauma-Focused CBT.

    From Burnout to Balance

    Yoga & Psychology Wellbeing Workshop
Ministry of Sound Workspace | Sunday 25th January 2026

In collaboration with the Healthcare Club, we started the new year with a morning dedicated to moving from stress to clarity. This uplifting and grounding two hour event brought together movement and reflection to help attendees begin 2026 with balance rather than burnout.

The morning opened with a 40 minute guided yoga session, giving everyone the chance to reset the body, release stress and reconnect with themselves. This was followed by a wellbeing workshop led by a psychologist, where attendees took part in practical, reflective exercises to identify their values, connect with what truly matters to them and set meaningful, sustainable intentions for the year ahead.

  • Compassion in Action Workshop

    A Compassionate Wellbeing Session
Ministry of Sound Workspace | Sunday 29th March 2026

Following the success of our sold out January event with the Healthcare Club, we returned to Ministry of Sound Workspace to host a restorative, compassionate wellbeing session guided by two clinical psychologists from The Light Side Practice.

The morning brought accessible psychology tools together with a welcoming community space, giving attendees the chance to connect with others who share an interest in wellbeing. Drawing on Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), the session opened with a nourishing 50 minute yoga class, followed by an hour with our clinical psychologists exploring the flows of compassion: how we offer compassion to others, how we receive it from those around us, and how we nurture it within ourselves.
